The Old Maidstonian Society holds regular and occasional events. One annual fixture is the Annual Supper, normally on the penultimate Friday of March and preceded by the Annual General Meeting (see under Organization), both held at the School. This page and the posts in the events category list others. Also included are School events to which OMs are invited.
OMs are encouraged to come to the School’s annual carol service, which this year is after universities’ terms are over, on December 19th. 7.30 PM at All Saints’ church. OMs and others can meet over the free mulled wine and mince pie reception afterwards at the church, and perhaps go on to a pub (we have not tried to book as venues not already booked are hard to find at that date).
The next events being organized are the rescheduled London get-together which will be on 1st March 2018, 7PM at Bush House, the annual supper on 23rd March, and the annual OMs vs MGS football and rugby games on March 28th. The OMs vs MGS cricket match is provisionally set for 18th July.
There is an Old Maidstonians rugby team, organised jointly with Maidstone Rugby Club.

The Committee has re-arranged the previously postponed "London Get-Together" and would like to invite all Old Maidstonians to an early evening informal gathering being held on the 8th Floor & South Terrace of Bush House (30 Aldwych, London, WC2B 4BG). The rescheduled Get-Together will be on Thursday 1 March 2018, 19:00 to 21:30.
As the former home of BBC Worldwide, the newly renovated
offers outstanding views of the London skyline from the rooftop terrace, including the River Thames, Westminster, the London Eye and St Pauls (as shown at the above link). Once again we are very grateful to Ralph Luck OBE for securing this room for the Society.
The 8th Floor & South Terrace has a pay bar and there will also be a buffet.
In order that we can have an idea of the numbers wishing to attend, and the amount for the buffet, we would be grateful if you would please let the Membership Secretary/Treasurer know, e.g. by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Society would appreciate a nominal £10 contribution, which can be paid in advance to the OMS account (details below) or on the evening.
