The Old Maidstonian Society holds regular and occasional events. One annual fixture is the Annual Supper, normally on the penultimate Friday of March and preceded by the Annual General Meeting (see under Organization), both held at the School. This page and the posts in the events category list others. Also included are School events to which OMs are invited.
OMs are encouraged to come to the School’s annual carol service, which this year is after universities’ terms are over, on December 19th. 7.30 PM at All Saints’ church. OMs and others can meet over the free mulled wine and mince pie reception afterwards at the church, and perhaps go on to a pub (we have not tried to book as venues not already booked are hard to find at that date).
The next events being organized are the quiz on 17th October 2018, the London get-together on 22nd November 2018, 7PM at the George Inn, Borough High St., the annual carol service on 20th December 2018, followed by mulled wine as usual, and the annual supper on 26 April 2019.
There is an Old Maidstonians rugby team, organised jointly with Maidstone Rugby Club.
